Town Hall Theatre Company presents a new Kevin
Morales original, “Carol of the Bells.” This holiday
show features an eclectic mix of traditional and
popular Christmas carols, as well as classic and
contemporary music. The story follows the Bell
sisters, three Sugar Plum Faeries who come from the
chilly North Pole to an even more frigid North
American suburb that has forgotten the meaning of
Christmas. The faeries, with the help of some of the
local children, are able to warm the hearts of their
cold parents with the power of music and memory, all
the while learning something about the humanity
within themselves. They shake up the rigid morality
of the community and rekindle the Christmas spirit
in a musical sensation that all ages will enjoy.
The show includes many Christmas favorites like
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Do You Hear What I
Hear,” and “Silent Night,” as well as pop songs like
“Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and “This Cat
Is On a Hot Tin Roof.” A children’s choir, featured
throughout the show, acts as a kind of Greek
chorus. The children perform nearly a dozen classic
and contemporary carols.
“This is ‘Let’s Go To the Movies’ colliding with
‘It’s A Wonderful Life,’” says director Daren A.C.
Carollo. “The show has so much heart. This is a zany
script that brings home a heart-warming message.
It’s a show not to be missed. No regional theater
ever takes risks like this—a world premiere for this
time, this theater, and this audience. Kevin’s play
is an incredible gift to the holiday season.”
Amy Neiman, who plays the oldest sister Viola,
"It’s a fun show that will get you into the
holiday spirit, and it’s a great time for the whole
family. There is something
for everyone to enjoy.”
Appropriate for all ages.
